The Association for Science Education (ASE) is delighted to host our fellow Strategic Partners of the I SEE project at our Annual Conference; the largest science education professional development conference in Europe, which is hosted this year by the University of Birmingham. Over two days, 9 and 10 January, I SEE team members, teachers, teacher educators and researchers, from Finland, Iceland, Italy and the UK will present a series of workshops to introduce conference delegates to the I SEE project, its aims and objectives, and the teaching resources; with the aim of equipping teachers to effectively employ our I SEE strategies and resources with their students – fostering students’ future thinking and imagination about big global issues including climate change, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
Additionally, three members of the I SEE team (Antti Laherto, University of Helsinki; Olivia Levrini, University of Bologna, and Marianne Cutler, ASE Director Curriculum Innovation) will join the International Panel to discuss ‘What are the opportunities and challenges for science education internationally in the next 5-10 years?’
